  11. II.  PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. This is a special release of VirusScan to detect viruses written using
  14. the "Simulated Metamorphic Encryption enGine," or SMEG, as it is commonly
  15. known.  This release of VirusScan detects only the SMEG.Pathogen and
  16. SMEG.Queeg viruses, as well as the SMEG engine itself.  To check for
  17. all viruses, obtain a copy of the latest VirusScan from McAfee or your
  18. local authorized agent.

  20. III.  USAGE

  22. To check for the SMEG virus using VirusScan, run the SCAN.EXE program
  23. by typing:

  27. where "X:" is the drive, directory, or file you wish to check for the
  28. virus.  For complete information on running VirusScan, obtain the latest
  29. VirusScan from McAfee or your local authorized agent.
